Suitable for any type
of "splint" weaving including baskets. Available
in two sizes 10mm and 20mm. Top quality blue riband
quality, fresh and flexible! Packed in 1/2 kilo bundles,
10mm approximately 220 feet per half kilo, 20mm approximately
110 feet per half kilo.
To
work out the panel weave size, measure from the space
between one pair of vertical or horizontal canes to
the space between the next pair of canes in the grid,
most chairs use 1/2" weave. 3/8" is used mostly
in continental or decorative furniture.

foot or complete 50 foot roll. It is not
suitable for hand caned chairs with holes drilled through
the frame as panelling needs to be glued into a groove
with a covering filet of cane to give it strength. The
photo left shows the difference in the size of weave
between half inch and three eighths inch. Half inch
is the most regularly used in most applications. The
measurement is taken between the pairs of vertical or
horizontal canes.
